Halo

Benefits

Improves Skin Texture, and Sun damage

Halo’s dual wavelengths provide both short-term and long-term benefits. By creating small thermal injuries in the skin, Halo triggers your body's natural healing response, stimulating the production of new healthy cells that reduce the appearance of large pores. Halo also specifically targets discoloration, sun damage, actinic keratosis, and other visible signs of aging to give you that “HALO glow”— and it’s one reason why HALO continues to be one of Sciton’s most popular modalities.

Dual-Wavelength Precision

The Halo can deliver dual wavelengths (ablative and non-ablative) in a single pass. This allows for precise targeting of different skin layers. The ablative wavelength addresses skin imperfections on the surface, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation, while the non-ablative wavelength penetrates deeper to stimulate collagen production and promote overall skin rejuvenation. This dual-action approach can result in comprehensive skin improvement

Minimal Downtime

If you are seeking skin rejuvenation with less disruption to your daily activities the Halo laser treatment is for you. Halos hybrid fractional technology aims to reduce downtime while still delivering impressive results. The combination of ablative and non-ablative wavelengths helps to speed up the healing process. Patients may experience some redness and mild swelling initially, but the recovery time is generally shorter compared to older-generation ablative lasers.

What to expect

Before the treatment, a topical anesthetic ointment will be used to numb the treated area.

As the HALO handpiece gently rolls across the skin, integrated cooling helps keep patients comfortable. After the treatment, most patients will feel warm for 30 to 60 minutes or slightly longer with deeper treatment levels. Patients may experience tightness of the skin and redness and swelling similar to a sunburn sensation.

On days two to three, a bronzing, sandpaper-like texture will form on the skin as MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) make their way to the surface and fall off by day four or five, depending on the treatment depth and intensity.

A gentle cleanser and moisturizer are recommended until the skin has naturally exfoliated. Sunscreen should be applied daily with no direct exposure for 7 days post-treatment. Please adhere to your provider’s instructions.
